 In Semiconductors, as far as i know, these are main streams for analog career, within that there is some expertise domain that you should choose.

For Analog related roles, you have to be good at transistors and math especially calculus. Sometimes usage of geometry skills will be helpful to analyses curves, bode plots, etc...
